VIDEO: Joe Mauer and Anthony Slama Stop at Northfield Middle School
The Twins player were in town on Wednesday as part of the team's annual Winter Caravan tour.
Minnesota Twins Joe Mauer and Anthony Slama spent part of their afternoon at Northfield Middle School on Wednesday chatting it up with hundreds of fans, including students and community members.
The stop was part of the Twins annual Winter Caravan tour, which is in its 51st year.
Students like sixth-grader Tori Salaba said it was really cool to have the two Twins players visit the school.
"It was a lot of fun to meet Joe Mauer and Anthony Slama," added sixth-grader Ashley Gardner.
The Twins made the stop in Northfield with help from the folks at KYMN.
