State Candidates Meet at League of Women Voters Forum

Four candidates for the Minnesota Legislature met Saturday to talk about the issues facing District 20 and the state.

Candidates seeking to represent the newly formed District 20 in the Minnesota Legislature met Saturday at Northfield City Hall for a League of Women Voters of Northfield-Cannon Falls forum.

Senate District 20 candidates Kevin Dahle, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor nominee, and Mike Dudley, the Republican nominee, were joined by the House District 20B candidates David Bly, a DFLer, and Brian Wermerskirchen, a Republican.

Topics discussed ranged from the budget forecast, jobs and the proposed constitutional amendments for marriage and voter ID.
