Northfielders gathered on Bridge Square on Saturday to tell Mother Nature that they've had enough of the winter season.

A group sang songs of displeasure of the season; the Northfield Historical Society hosted the event as a fundraiser, giving out ice cream donated from Hogan Brothers Acoustic Café and warm drinks from Just Food Co-op.

Well I must say Im Glad you di this. Hope we can continue the tradition next year. Next year Ill bring my guitar as asked. After you left I was lucky enough to relieve some of them from the cold. Not only am I stubborn but seems a little touchy must be the musician in me. I am willing to let the water run under the 4th street bridge if you care to friend me again. Ill leave it up to you. once again the coverage was limited and thank you for showing up and sharing this for all to see. I stand corrected and hope forgivness come fast. I was going to talk to you but was too embarresed to wave the flag of truce.

Alas! Was it just a week ago we were standing in bitterly cold weather singing, "We're Not Gonna Take It Any More?" And it is STILL January! Thanks to NHS and Scott and Jessica for a fun event. Love those words, "We have no friends in Phoenix, we've blown through all our Kleenex." Props to Scott as lyricist.

I salute Scott and his knowing that Kleenex is a brand and not a generic name, which many people get confuse about. (Tissues.)
