Scene in Northfield: Get Quack!
Two mallards on Friday spent some time in a fairly domestic place.
A male and female mallard took a stroll Friday through an unusual spot—the patch of grass between and , which is located right next to the busy intersection of Hwy. 3 and Hwy. 19/Fifth Street West.
Earlier this week, Griff Wigley of Locally Grown Northfield snapped a few shots of a female mallard and 24—yes, 24—ducklings in , which is a short flight away from the major intersection.
Maybe ma and pa duck were able to get away for an afternoon stroll?
