Raider Gymnasts Win Missota Conference Title
Northfield had the top three finishers in the all-around competition.
The Northfield High gymnastics team captured the Missota Conference championship Friday night at the Northfield Gymnastics Club.
The Raiders finished with a school-record 150.6 points and were followed by New Prague, with 146.15 points; Farmington, 140.95; Chasshassen/Chaska, 135.45; and Red Wing, 126.225.
Northfield’s Bailey DuPay, Sveta Mason and Abby Stets finished 1-2-3 for the conference’s all-around title. DuPay earned a score of 37.475, while Mason had 37.225 and Stets had 36.675.
Next up for the Raiders, the two-time defending state Class AA champions, is the section championship next Saturday.
