Faribault Police say Francis Pinc, 53 of Northfield, jumped to his death from Faribault's Viaduct on Wednesday night, according to the Northfield News.

Pinc on Wednesday pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic assault in Rice County District Court, according to Minnesota Court records. He was released from Rice County Jail following the plea, reported the paper. He was scheduled for sentencing in February.

Faribault Police Chief Dan Collins told the News that he doesn't believe foul play factored into Pinc's death.
