Thousands of folks headed to downtown Northfield on Thursday for the 14th annual Winter Walk.

The Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce event touted carolers, wagon rides and treats for those who strolled the streets, which were lined with luminaries. There was also plenty to see in many of the downtown shops and buildings, including the train display at the Northfield Public Library. A tree lighting ceremony was held at 5:15 p.m. on Bridge Square.
