Northfield Students Score Well on Advanced Placement Exams
Of the 400 Advanced Placement exams taken this spring by Northfield High School students, 319 were scored high enough to earn college credit.
Of the 400 Advanced Placement exams taken this spring by students, 319 were scored high enough to earn college credit.
Those 319 qualifying scores meant the students who took them received a score of 3, 4 or 5 on a 1-5 scale. Depending on where a student goes to college, the qualifying score could allow the student to skip some or all of a comparable course.
Superintendent Chris Richardson said that having 80 percent of the exams receive a score of 3 or higher is a testament to the hard work of the students and teachers throughout the past school year.

Northfield High School offered 23 AP courses last school year; classes ranged from environmental science to calculus to German.
