On Tuesday night, the Northfield High School DECA club met with the Northfield Area Family YMCA Board of Directors to unveil a sign announcing the "Future Home of the Y."
DECA is a business organization for high school students interested in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
The sign was designed and built by the DECA club as their fall community service project. It will be installed at the site of the new Y, located on Honey Locust Drive, which is slated to open in 2013.
A land marking celebration is planned for 4 p.m. Sunday.
