Fans of the chicken tikka, chana masala, vegetable pakoras and other food at Kurry Kabab should visit the restaurant this week. Kurry Kabab will be closed after Sunday, according to owner-chef Pappu Singh.
"We have loved serving the people of Northfield," said Singh, who has operated the business with his wife, Nikki, since 2005.
Patch will have more about the Singhs' story on Monday.

My husband and I love Kurry Kabab! It's been our go to place since we moved to Minnesota 4 years ago. Very sad. I'm going to need a ton of paneer before this happens.

So sad!!!! I love Kurry Kabab, especially the Lamb Vindaloo (as hot as they can make it) with extra Naan and raita. Since I work two doors down, I often get it delivered.

What a bummer! This has been my favorite place for lunch, and I counted on KK being there forever. I will definitely eat there this week and give my appreciation to the Singhs for their great food and contribution to making Northfield a Special Place.

So sad. I will miss their great food & little daughter. A real loss for Northfield. I wish
them the best of luck and great thanks for all their hard work. It is not easy to make a
business work in Northfield. Thank you Singh Family.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Kurry Kabab was the place I proudly took all my out of town guests and business associates and where our family has eaten as often as we can since the restaurant opened. We could always count on the pride and care the family took with preparing the food and the consideration they gave to the customers. And I will sorely miss the wide range of delicious vegetarian choices. Thank you to the Singh family who provided fine dining, and healthy, tasty food these past few years.
