In my opinon, today should have been a two-hour late start. The city streets were filled with slush and water making manuvering problematic in areas around town. The back driveway at the Middle School wasn't cleared making drop-off an issue as well. With a two-hour late start more could have been done to clear streets and school driveways.

if buses are late and the side walks are not cleared off by the start of programing at the schools then a two hour delay would benefit the school, children, and parents! This way when dropping off children there is less of a risk of falling or struggling to get into the entrances to the school! Today there was a city plow that was stuck at the entrance to sibley making it difficult for me to drop off my child! Allowing the buildings and grounds team to clear areas and salt/sand would be a great precaution to prevention of incidents and make me as a parent feel like the school is thinking of outdoor safety!
