Who's running for what?
It's a common question overheard all too often over a cup of coffee.
Patch has compiled basic biographical information from this year's batch of candidates in races that include Northfield. Candidates who responded have their names as links. Those without links did not respond to our request. Again, the links will bring you to pages with purely biographical information. These pages are meant to be a start in your own research of candidates.
In the coming days we'll run Q&As for candidates who are in next week's Primary Election. Those races include Northfield's At-Large and Second Ward races, where two candidates from each race will continue on to the General Election in November. Once we're past the Primary Election, you'll be able to find more candidate coverage on Northfield Patch leading up to Election Day.
In addition to our coverage of all the races, Patch encourages you to visit the Northfield News, Northfield.org, Locally Grown Northfield and listen to KYMN Radio to get a more complete picture of this year's election. No one outlet will cover it all, so it's important to seek out as much information as possible to be as informed as you can before heading to the polls on Aug. 14 and Nov. 6.
