Downtown Northfield Businesses on the Move
Some downtown businesses have moved and a few new ones have recently popped up.
The holidays are here and you may be looking to visit a favorite local shop.
Well, some have moved and a few new ones have recently popped up.
Aescendant Accessories announced on its Facebook page this weekend that it has relocated to 106 East Fourth St. and hopes to be open in time for Winter Walk on Dec. 8. Owners Andrea and Don Alveshere closed their Bridge Square location this fall.
Last week, Mother Goose, a children’s resale and boutique, opened at 801 Division St. next to Whitestone Cleaners.

The Fine Craft Collective is also back for its eighth year. The pop-up holiday store this year calls 310 Division St. S. its temporary home, which used to house Digs. Last year, it took up the vacant storefront at 314 Division St. S, which is now where Rooms by Tagg 2 is lcoated.
Knitters rejoiced when Northfield Yarn opened a few months ago, which can found in the former Rooms by Tagg 2 space in the back of the 314 Division St. building.
Mary Rossing's Present Perfect, which closed this summer to make way for Coldwell Banker South Metro, has reopened as Present Perfect Underground, a temporary store in the basement of 304 Division St. S. You can read more about the pop-up store on the Northfield News.
