Aescendant Accessories, a small boutique that offers men and women's fashion, jewelry, accessories and gifts, will close its doors Oct. 15, according to its Facebook page.
"Moving Sale!!! October 15th will be our last day of business in our current location at 13 Bridge Square," a post from Thursday reads. "We'll be offering deep discounts on in-store merchandise in the coming weeks. Stop in for some great deals, and help to lighten the load for our move. Check back here or at www.aescendant.com for weekly updates!"
Andrea Alveshere, who owns the store with her husband, Don, told the Northfield News that they're expecting a child, which played into the decision, but said a tough economic climate also forced the closure.
The two plan to continue selling online, they told the newspaper.

Thank you for sharing our news! We are working on not closing completely, but moving to a smaller space, where we would be open for more limited hours and, of course, during the big downtown events. We'll update our Patch page as soon as arrangements have been finalized. We will also be expanding the selection in our online store and will continue to offer a shipping-free option for local customers. We hope to see many new and familiar faces during our moving sale...I dare say the prices will be unbeatable! :)

Thanks for the update, Andrea. I alerted folks a few weeks ago about the new location via your Facebook page.
